Leona

Director

 

Leona has been working in the hair industry for 28 years and for the majority of her hairdressing career she has owned her own business. She has three wonderful boys and a very supportive husband. When she's not busy running the salon she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

 

Likes & interests

Leona particularly enjoys the social aspect of running a salon. She likes to get to know her clients well, and is a complete natural at bringing out the very best in her staff. She unwinds by meditating and exercising.

 

Interesting fact

Leona once did a sky dive and a bungee jump. She is now truly petrified of heights!

Tina

Premier Stylist

 

Tina has been styling hair for over 35 years and she first joined Total Look in 1981. After five years Tina took time out to be a stay-at-home mum. In 2001 she was delighted to be back as a director at Total Look. Tina specialises in re-styling and cutting.

 

Likes & interests

You only have to spend a few moments with Tina to know that she likes making people feel good about themselves. When she's not at work her interests include dressmaking, gardening and baking.

 

Interesting fact

Tina loves to practice the graceful and slow movements Yang Tai Chi to benefit her health.

Sue

Senior Cutting & Colouring Technician

 

Sue trained at Total Look when she was just sixteen years old and worked her way up to become a very valued senior stylist. After marriage and having a family, she returned to the salon in 2007. Sue's specialist area covers all aspects of hairdressing including colour and cutting.

 

Likes & interests

Sue nurtures the relationships she has developed with clients, and through her hairdressing skills she loves to help each and every one feel better about themselves. It's that Total Look ethos thing! When Sue is at home she loves walking her dogs, unwinding through yoga and eating delicious food!

 

Interesting fact

Sue has been involved in Autograss Racing and has competed a few times!

Beccie

Senior Cutting and Colouring Technician

 

Beccie qualified as a hair stylist in 2012 and has been a member of the Total Look team for 12 years. She relishes the creative opportunity that a career in hairdressing offers and enjoys each and every day at work. Her specialist areas are re-styling and colouring.

 

Likes & interests

Beccie loves creating new styles and developing her colour work which brings out her natural artistic side. She's a social girl and enjoys meeting new people. Beccie is an ardent shopper!

Daisy

Colourist and curly hair specialist

 

Daisy has been hairdressing for three years and is level 3 NVQ qualified. She specialises in all aspects of hair colouring and is also an expert in cutting curly hair whilst helping clients to understand how to take care of their curls at home.

 

From subtle, lived-in tones to bold transformations, Daisy loves creating colours that are tailored to each client and enhance their individual style. Alongside this, she's passionate about working with natural curls - shaping, defining and helping clients truly understand their hair. Daisy is passionate about helping her clients feel confident, refreshed and completely themselves when they leave the chair.

 

Likes & interests

Outside of work Daisy loves to socialise with family and friends, creating memories and going to music concerts with her sister!

 

Interesting fact

When Daisy was in Primary school, she had a poem published in a young authors book!

Mia

Graduate Stylist

 

Mia joined Total Look from Leona’s previous salon and has successfully completed her training.

 

Likes & interests

Creativity is innate to Mia and she loves learning new skills to enable her to develop her flair for style, especially in her chosen career of hairdressing. When she's not studying and working in the salon you'll find her enjoying the company of friends and enjoying a delicious meal.

 

Interesting fact

This will surprise you... Mia has trained in Olympic weightlifting.

Charlotte

Apprentice

 

Charlotte joined the team in the summer of 2025. Currently working towards her NVQ Level 1, Charlotte is enjoying learning the essential skills of hairdressing and customer care. Her head massage technique earns glowing feedback from clients.

 

Likes & interests

Charlotte loves learning new techniques and takes on feedback with a smile. She enjoys socialising and meeting new people and for relaxation she curls up with a good book.

 

Interesting fact

When she was a young girl Charlotte learned sign language. Whilst on a school trip safari in South Africa she had very close encounters with elephants and lions. Charlotte is very brave.

Issy

Trainee

 

Issy is a salon assistant and her role is to support our stylists and help ensure every client feels welcome. She plays a key role in keeping the salon running smoothly. Issy is about to begin her apprenticeship and is looking forward to becoming a fully qualified hair professional.

 

Likes & interests

When not at work Issy enjoys spending fun time with her friends, and particularly enjoys going on a dog walk.

 

Interesting fact

At school Issy took part in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) where she learned various combat roles within the military.

Chelsea

Salon receptionist

 

Chelsea is our receptionist and the first smile you’ll see when you walk through the door. She is great at creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and making sure every client feels comfortable, valued, and excited for their appointment.

 

Likes & interests

When not at work Chelsea enjoys spending family time with her two young children and fiancé. She enjoys going for walks and dinner with friends.

 

Interesting fact

Chelsea is Canadian. She moved to the UK in 2013.

Jane

Office and Training Manager

 

Jane has been in charge of the office and Total Look's trusted PA for many years. She arrived as a young married girl and, unbelievably, is now proud to be a grandma! With her cheerful smile, her calm disposition and her dry sense of humour Jane is much loved and highly regarded by staff and clients alike. Jane also supervises the theory element in the Total Look hairdressing courses.

 

Likes & interests

Jane loves the friendship with all the other members of staff – in her own words "we are always there for one another". When she's not at work she enjoys all genres of music and frequently goes to live concerts. Her secret love is all things ‘Disney’.

 

Interesting fact

Jane can, and has, driven a tank. Really!
